HOLE 8

old Camper

Par 3 • WHITE: 149 yds • RED: 149 yds

Nestled near the winding Weeping Water Creek, this hole pays tribute to the Boy Scouts who once camped, canoed, and fished in the woods beyond the iconic Grandpa’s Woods bridge.

Before 1980, this was also the opening hole at Grandpa’s Woods—the old clubhouse still stands near the tee box.

Today, the campfires are gone, but the challenge remains. This uphill par 3 plays to a hidden green beyond the crest of the hill, rewarding players who trust their yardage and commit to the shot.

Pick your number. Commit to it. Then climb the hill and see if you’re a happy camper.
